The Utmost Community Sports Funday will be returning on Saturday 3 September 2022.

The free family event will be run in partnership with The Guernsey Sports Commission, with thanks to Utmost International Guernsey and will host over 20 sports where all islanders, regardless of age and ability, will be able to get involved in.

The first ever ‘Mascot Challenge’ will see Utmost’s Darcy the Donkey compete against a number of sporting mascots in a friendly obstacle course challenge. The challenge will begin at 1pm.

Also at the event this year will be an opportunity to speak to three Commonwealth Games Team members about their recent wins during a Q&A at 3pm.

There will also be some additional benefits this year, including support from The Health Improvement Commission, who have created an active travel route map to encourage people to find alternative transport to the Funday without cars. Children will have a free drink provided by the Guernsey Dairy and a range of fruit available at a Channel Islands co-operative refuel station.

There will be interview and photo opportunities at the event with representatives from both Utmost International Guernsey and The Guernsey Sports Commission.
