Following the launch of her latest charity children’s book, 'Bailey and Harry Save Christmas', hospital chaplain Linda Le Vasseur has organised a book signing in the restaurant at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, November 12th from 11.00 am until 2.00 pm.
The event will give HSC staff an opportunity to purchase the book and see some of the original illustrations, which have been done by Linda’s husband Peter.
It’s a story about two very cute and intelligent dogs who hear that Santa is going to have problems doing his rounds on Christmas Eve. With the help of Herm’s magical white pheasant, the two dogs save the day.
All proceeds from the book, which costs £5.00, and a percentage of the sales of the original illustrations will go to Smile for Georgie.
Linda says: “I chose to support this charity because it does such amazing work, bringing kindness and smiles to all sorts of people in our community, including patients, those who are important to them and staff at the PEH.”
