Vega Technology appoints Head of  Business Development

Financial Software company Vega Technology has appointed Nick Mahy (pictured) as Head of  Business  Development - a new role created as the firm develops additional products.

Mr Mahy, who is FCCA qualified, has more than 30 years of experience across a broad range of roles in the offshore financial services industry.

David Collings, Managing & Technical Director of Vega Technology said this will help him in his new role.

“We are entering a new phase of growth, where we will be building on our established suite of financial and regulatory software and taking it to more offshore jurisdictions. Nick has come from the client-side of our business so is perfectly positioned to be able to identify needs and, with his IT experience, can help guide the development of our new products and client centric solutions.

“In addition to our flagship Acumen software, Tax Reporting and eBanking solutions, we have recently developed DigiHub, a Customer Data Management (“CDM”) solution which is cloud-based and incorporates data enrichment with onboarding software. To date this has generating a huge amount of interest and Nick will be instrumental in driving this forward.”

Mr Mahy said he is looking forward to working toward's Vega's aims.

“I have used Vega’s software extensively for over 20 years across fund, fiduciary and pension offerings and therefore have first hand experience how their products and services can be utilised to add value and improve efficiency. I am really pleased to join the team at Vega and looking forward to helping them deliver their ambitious growth plans".
