Specsavers has announced the relaunch of its Virtual Work Experience programme in partnership with Springpod.
It is now open for sign-ups after officially commencing on 2 December.
The initiative is designed to offer an immersive experience, enabling participants to explore business functions at Specsavers including marketing, technology, people and operations, finance, and store-focused careers.
Georgie Tapley, Early Careers Manager, said: "We were so impressed by the participants who completed the programme last year, we knew we would open it back up again this year for a new intake of students."
The Virtual Work Experience consists of nine modules filled with activities, videos, and quizzes.
The online nature of the programme allows flexibility. It takes approximately eight to 10 hours to complete and can be undertaken at each participant's own pace.
Upon completing the programme, participants will earn a certificate that they can include on their CV and LinkedIn profiles. The programme is open to people aged 13 and up, making it valuable for students, adults, and those facing obstacles when entering the workforce.
