HSBC has appointed Christopher Jones as Head of Trust Relationship Management for Private Wealth Solutions in the Channel Islands.
Based in Jersey, Mr Jones, who previously worked in HSBC’s private banking business in Hong Kong, will oversee the delivery of first-class succession planning solutions to the Bank’s high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.
Having worked at HSBC for 13 years, he was most recently based in Hong Kong as a Team Head in the Private Banking relationship management platform covering the International Private Wealth market. Mr Jones joined the relationship management platform in 2015 after spending five years in the Bank’s Private Wealth Solutions business in Hong Kong in both the Family Governance and Wealth Planning teams. He was previously with the Bank in Taiwan and London.
Highly qualified, he holds the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management, is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder and a Chartered Management Accountant.
