Deloitte’s annual Real Estate Breakfast Seminar will delve into property market trends, digitalisation and the Autumn Tax Budget.

David Becker and the company's Channel Islands’ Real Estate Team will be covering a number of topics in their seminar this Wednesday.

These include:

  • a market update covering trends and themes across the major UK commercial property market sectors

  • digitalisation, data analytics and AI covering challenges, opportunities and the potential for transformation in real estate. 

  • the Autumn Tax Budget and other key changes in tax legislation impacting the real estate sector.

  • developments in the ever evolving real estate financing landscape.

    an update on financial reporting challenges facing the real estate sector

Speakers from the Guernsey office include three Deloitte partners, David Becker, Jo Huxtable and Alex Adam along with Matthew Fisher from the Channel Island’s Real Estate Team. 

Joining them virtually from Deloitte UK will be Clive Worland, Director, Real Estate Advisory; Phillip Parnell, Head of Valuation, Assurance & Professional Advisory at Deloitte Real Estate; Sheelan Shah, Partner, Investment Management Tax; Hannah Townsend, Associate Director, Real Estate Tax; Andrew Carey, Real Estate Consulting Partner and Byron Pilling, Real Estate Tax Director.

David Becker, Partner at Deloitte in Guernsey, said: "Our annual Real Estate Breakfast Seminar is always popular so we are thrilled to be able to put on the event once again. Deloitte real estate specialists will be covering a number of topics that are extremely relevant to the real estate sector at the end of a very strange year."

The event takes place at 08:30 to 10:30 on Wednesday at the Regency Room at the OGH.
