Resolution IT appoints new senior consultant

Thursday 21 May 2020

A senior IT consultant with more than 30 years' experience has joined Resolution IT to work across a range of the firm's projects.

Robin Guilbert has previously been involved in many of the largest IT implementations across the Channel Islands giving him experience in large scale security projects for financial services businesses and a large pan-Channel Islands retail consortium, as well as the replacement of all systems across two data centres and the complete overhaul and modernisation of many local businesses’ IT systems.

Mr Gilbert said: "It’s been very surreal to start my new role at Resolution IT during lockdown but the technology they have in place has enabled me to feel a valued member of the team from day one. I like to think of myself as an innovative problem solver and I’m delighted to be working with such an enthusiastic team of like-minded individuals who are all focused on using their IT expertise to provide clients (and in turn their clients) with the very best customer experience through harnessing the right technology, specific to their individual business needs. It’s truly refreshing to be working in such a positive and collaborative environment."

Olly Duquemin, CEO of Resolution IT said: "We’re absolutely delighted to have someone with Robin’s IT calibre join the team and his extensive knowledge is already making a valuable difference to our clients’ IT systems. The global coronavirus pandemic has meant we (like all businesses) have had to adapt our daily routine but we haven’t let it stop us. We can’t wait to eventually welcome Robin to the office in person."
