Zoë Beer and Jonathan Law are the latest graduates from Ogier's English Solicitor Training Programme and have joined the firm as associates.

Ms Beer, who studied in Jersey, has joined the Guernsey Dispute Resolution team and Mr Laws, who studied in Guernsey, has relocated to Hong Kong to join Ogier's Banking and Finance team.

Ms Beer's previous supervisor, Managing Associate Richard Laignel, said: "Zoë has demonstrated that she has all the key skills needed to have a fine career in law and will no doubt be a great asset to the firm, and the Guernsey Dispute Resolution team in particular."

Mr Law's previous supervisor, Senior Associate James Walsh, said: "Throughout his traineeship, Jonathan has demonstrated focus and commitment, always providing excellent client service with enthusiasm."

Partner Richard Daggett, who leads the training scheme, said it was a vital component to growing the firm's workforce.

"Although we are based in multiple jurisdictions, we think of ourselves as one firm and both Zoë and Jonathan's relocations are a great example of this mentality.

"Their paths also demonstrate that choosing to train in one location does not limit the possibilities of where your career might take you."
