Louvre employee shortlisted in Future Leaders Awards 2019

Tuesday 23 July 2019

Matthew Gilligan, Client Relationship Manager at Louvre Trust, has been shortlisted as Trustee of the Year - Manager in the Future Leaders Awards 2019.

Now in its fifth year, the awards programme run by Citywealth champions young professionals in the wealth sector and highlights leaders of today and tomorrow under the age of 40.

The philosophy of the awards is to support future leaders who excel at work but who also make an important contribution to society. The shortlist is based on submissions, judges’ recommendation and editorial research.

Karen Jones, Citywealth CEO, said: “Apart from his main role, Matthew heads up the CSR and charitable giving function and has been instrumental in the launch of Louvre’s own charitable foundation. He is committed to giving back to local charities and encouraging coworkers to engage in volunteering.”

This is the first time Mr Gilligan has featured in the shortlist. “I am delighted to have been shortlisted and, as one of only a handful in my sector locally to have been recognised, it is very humbling,” he said.

Voting for the awards is now open, closing on the 15 October, and the winner will be announced in London on 13 November.
