London rendezvous for local start-ups to pitch ventures

The Digital Greenhouse is taking 11 locally grown business with a global outlook to Scale Space in London to pitch their business plans to the first Showcase Guernsey event.

The island’s newest tech ventures will present ideas to investors and industry leaders on 31 October and highlighting the island as a hotbed for innovation.

Each of the businesses has graduated from Digital Greenhouse programmes including the Guernsey Venture Challenge, and span many sectors from fintech to eventtech.

Each of the businesses will have three minutes to pitch their business idea to the room and the event will also allow time for networking.

Dave Wratten, Co Founder of Stage Portal, said: “We are very excited to have been invited to pitch Stage Portal at Showcase Guernsey. After taking part in the Startup Academy and winningfunding from the Guernsey Venture Challenge, this is a great opportunity for to pitch to key stakeholders in London and to take the next step to help us gain our market in the UK."
