Intertrust appoints Head of Corporate Services in Guernsey

Amit Taylor has been made Head of Corporate Services at Intertrust, to form part of the new senior management team in Guernsey.

With more than 20 years' experience as a finance industry professional in the UK and in Guernsey, Intertrust says Mr Taylor's been appointed 'to pave the way for future growth and development'.

He moved to Guernsey in 2010 to become Managing Director of HSBC’s fund administration and custody business before moving to become Group Managing Director of Trust Corporation, and then Estera where he was the Guernsey Managing Director.

Intertrust says Mr Taylor has expertise in the development and implementation of strategic plans, sales and business development, business management and in corporate, fiduciary and fund services. He will now be leading the island's corporate services team while working closely with colleagues in the Channel Islands and the rest of the Intertrust network to continue to grow the strong corporate service offering.

Marie McNeela, Managing Director at Intertrust in Guernsey, said: “Amit has a wealth of experience and I am thrilled he will be joining our management team. With Amit on the board, I am very confident that the business in Guernsey will develop further and continue to grow for many years to come.”

Intertrust’s Global Head of Corporate Client Services Jan-Willem van Drimmelen said: “Amit joins the Intertrust team at a time of growth and technical development. His appointment not only benefits the Channel Islands, but also Intertrust’s corporate client service offering as a whole continuing to build trusted and long-term client relationships.”
