International experts will attend Guernsey’s third annual sustainable finance week in September.
The event, hosted by Guernsey Green Finance and We Are Guernsey, will see discussion on biodiversity, the energy transition and carbon pricing and markets.
Guernsey became a global leader in sustainable finance in 2018 after launching the world’s first regulated green fund regime.
We are Guernsey’s Head of Sustainable Finance Stephanie Glover welcomed the return of an in-person event after covid restrictions saw it switched to an in-person/digital hybrid event last year.

“The event has grown each year and we are delighted to be in a position to host an entire event on-island and invite international sustainable finance experts to experience the very best of Guernsey,” said Ms Glover.
“Last year was a huge success and we had extremely high calibre speakers from the sustainable finance space and we look forward to building on what we learned in 2021.”
The event will host market leading keynote speakers and informative panel sessions and will present a networking opportunity with allocators, managers and providers of capital, insurance practitioners, leading international figures in sustainability and private wealth and investment fund owners.
