The charity GO has launched a new online furniture showroom to sell its wares.
Short for GIVING OPPORTUNITIES, GO offers training opportunities alongside its work as a recycling and up-cycling charity.
That work includes refurbishing furniture which will now be advertised online as well as the retail shop on Southside at the Bridge.
“This exciting new online offering will allow our customers to view all of the furniture we have available before visiting the GO shop,” said Chris Murphy, GO’s General Manager.
“Customers will then be able to view the actual items they’re interested in by booking a viewing slot, on the website, at our place of storage between 12:00 and 14:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.”
This new facility for GO’s island-wide customer base comes just one month after the charity moved to its new shop and training facility at Southside.
The new site continues to focus on providing training and support to those who require assistance with a view to employment in Guernsey. The organisation aims to achieve financial self-sustainability by providing recycling, up-cycling and retail services.
