Wednesday 14 March 2018

EY has announced a number of management promotions within its assurance team in the Guernsey office.

Sacha Hamon and Laura Davidson, who both joined the firm as trainees in 2012, have been promoted to manager within the assurance team.

Miss Hamon, who joined the Guernsey office as a post A-level school leaver, has a wealth of experience across the financial services industries, including both private and listed companies, and has led teams on numerous engagements.

Miss Davidson joined EY upon graduating from the University of Bristol, where she studied mathematics. She focuses on private equity and the wealth & asset management industry and has a vast amount of experience in leading engagement teams on private equity audits.

Both Miss Davidson and Miss Hamon were identified as potential future leaders early on in their EY careers and joined EY’s Aspire programme. The programme identifies high performing and high potential seniors and aims to accelerate their development by providing coaching to build their leadership skills, as well as enhance their experiences with greater exposure to emerging industries and innovation within the financial sector.

Andrew Dann, EY’s Channel Islands Managing Partner, said: “I would like to congratulate Laura and Sacha on their recent promotions to the management team. We pride ourselves on our commitment to supporting our high potential individuals and providing them with opportunities to progress their careers, enabling us to provide exceptional client service.”
