Exam success boosts Resolution IT's team

Monday 15 June 2020

Industry recognised exam success for Dave Wratten at Resolution IT has increased the range of services its digital transformation team can now offer.

The Business Solutions Architect sat and passed the ASP.NET MVC exam, gaining him the MCSA-Web applications certification.

It means Resolution IT can now offer a bespoke app building service to clients struggling with very specific business process issues.

"The exam was a two-part process," Mr Wratten explained. "You firstly have to pass modules in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which are the front end of web pages. The ASP MVC part is all about the framework behind these types of applications which produce the web pages, manage data and handle authentication.

"What this means for our clients is that if they have a required area of their business which needs digitising, we are able to build them a cost-effective custom-made solution.

"What we’ve seen from our enforced remote working through the global coronavirus pandemic is that those companies who have relied heavily on paper-based processes have struggled. However, even if there isn’t an off the shelf solution to their paper-based processes, we can definitely build them one.

"Our development team is building custom solutions to meet clients’ specific business needs in a cost- effective way, working to industry standard development practices, with the latest technologies. We’re seeing a marked growth in this area as more clients look for a bespoke digital solution."

Resolution IT's CEO, Olly Duquemin, concluded: "Dave’s exam success adds real benefit to our clients and we’re pleased both for him and the many businesses who will benefit.

"I think today’s working world has moved digital transformation from a ‘nice to have’ for those businesses who hadn’t already invested in it, to centre stage of their business requirements. It’s shown the importance of digital maturity to businesses. It’s actually key to the health of your business and those that don’t adopt it are at risk of not being able to function competitively."
