Equiom has appointed super yacht industry expert, Chris Stokes who aims to raise the profile of the Channel Islands as a hub for expertise in yachting services.

Mr Stokes brings more than 18 years' experience in the maritime industry, having worked with high net worth individuals, high profile figures and multiple organisations within the industry.

With responsibility for the strategic global growth of Equiom's portfolio of yachting services, Mr Stokes will manage relationships with industry partners and potential clients while also supporting Equiom's overall yachting strategy.

He specialises in sales, marketing, events and strategy and has worked in a variety of senior roles across four continents, including CEO of a global yacht brokerage firm. Mr Stokes is a graduate of Middlesex University in Dubai and is also an active member of various international marine industry associations.

"His extensive experience and ability to identify new opportunities in the maritime industry will contribute significantly to consolidating our position as a global leader in yacht services. Mr Stokes will be at the Monaco Yacht Show with the rest of the company's yachting team later this week.
