Professionals from local technology companies will be on hand to offer career and job application advice at a Digital Greenhouse 'CV Clinic' this week.
Representatives from First Central Group, Resolution IT, JT, C5 Alliance and Specsavers will give feedback and guidance on how to break into the industry.
They'll explain what they look for in a candidate when they're recruiting and how you could improve your offering.
"The clinic is a great way for people to talk to people who work in the tech and creative industries," said Head of Digital at the Digital Greenhouse, Lucy Kirby. "There are many incredible tech companies on the island and some great opportunities for school leavers, uni students and people looking to switch careers.
"The clinic provides a space for people to come down, bring their CV and get some proper first hand insight into what Guernsey has to offer."
Development Manager at First Central Group, Dan Edmunds, added: "We're really looking forward to being at this year's CV Clinic. We were there last year and it's great to be able to help potential candidates. It's also really useful from our perspective to see who's out there.
"There's a lot of talent on the island in the creative and tech sectors and it's a good opportunity for us to meet them in an informal setting.
"I'd encourage anyone interested in a teach career on the island to attend."
The clinic will take place from 18:00 until 20:00 on Thursday 19 December at the Digital Greenhouse.
