Carey Olsen named Offshore Law Firm of the Year

Carey Olsen has been named Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Europe Awards 2022.

International law firm winners were chosen across 30 categories and announced at an awards gala held in Spain last week, following in-depth independent research from a team of over 200 researchers.

Winners of each category were credited for their outstanding work, notable achievements, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service, with chambers and partners highlighting Carey Olsen's “impressive offering, with leading teams in both Guernsey and Jersey” and how the firm is “frequently highlighted by sources for being reliable in providing clear-cut and concise answers to the question in hand”.

In the past year, Carey Olsen has worked on a number of high-profile European matters, including several industry firsts, including advising early-stage venture capital firm, Leafy Tunnel, on the launch of the first medicinal cannabis and psychedelics fund to be regulated in Guernsey.

The firm has also acted for Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited on its IPO on the London Stock Exchange and advised on SuperSeed Capital's listing on the Growth Market of the Aquis Stock Exchange, the UK's first ever publicly listed fund-of-venture-capital-funds
