Carey Olsen Partner Helen Wang, Counsel Joanna Caen, and Senior Associate Katie Turney have been elected as members of the STEP Contentious Trusts and Estates Special Interest Group Steering Committee.

The global professional body has more than 21,000 lawyers, accountants, trustees and other practitioners who, as specialists in inheritance and succession planning, draft wills and trusts, administer estates, act as trustees and advise families on how best to structure their finances.

The Contentious Trusts and Estates Special Interest Group provides a forum for sharing international trust and estate jurisprudence whilst promoting best practice.

Guernsey based Counsel, Ms Caen was Chair of the Hong Kong branch of STEP in 2021 and 2022.

She and her colleagues across Carey Olsen's global network of offices work with families, trustees and other professionals in asset planning, philanthropy, family company structures, dispute resolution and mental capacity issues.
