Belasko appoints two new Directors

Thursday 14 March 2024

Belasko has appointed Sandeep Lamba as Director of Fund Operations and Sugees Mahen as Director and Head of Private Debt.

Mr Lamba has more than 18 years' experience in assurance and financial services. In his new role, he will lead the development of policies, procedures, and the overall control governance framework to drive ISAE 3402 compliance.

"Belasko constantly strives to be a trusted partner for its clients. In my Group role, I'm looking forward to working with exceptional like-minded leaders across all four jurisdictions to make an impact to further strengthen the operational delivery of our client services," said Mr Lamba.

With 18 years of extensive experience in the offshore and onshore financial services industry, Mr Mahen specialises in investment funds accounting for Private Debt Funds. In his new role, he will develop and grow Belasko’s team in the UK and the Group’s specialism for Private Debt Fund administration.

"I’m looking forward to joining the team to continue delivering excellent services to Belasko’s clients," he said.

"This is an exciting opportunity and I can’t wait to bring my experience to help develop and grow the team in UK."

Paul Lawrence, Group Managing Director at Belasko, welcomed both to the firm, and said they bring many attributes with them.

"We’re pleased to welcome Sandeep and Sugees to the team," he said.

"Their extensive experiences will help our team across the group to strengthen our business offerings and support our clients."
