Babbé LLP has expanded its dispute resolution team with the appointment of commercial disputes lawyer, Emma Maguire, as an associate.

Ms Maguire joins the firm after gaining six years’ experience at Michelmores LLP, in London and Exeter, where she worked in the commercial disputes and regulatory team dealing with a range of matters including contractual claims, professional negligence claims, finance and investment, fraud and financial crime and defamation for both claimants and defendants.

A graduate from London South Bank University with a Law LLB (Hons), Ms Maguire then completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Holborn, London.

In her new role, Ms Maguire will support the senior dispute resolutions team working across a full range of commercial litigation, with a particular focus on financial and regulatory-related matters.

“I am excited to be working at Babbé LLP, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain knowledge from a firm that is dedicated to providing an outstanding service for its clients," said Ms Maguire. "I am looking forward to being a part of the team and building strong client relationships."

Babbé LLP Partner Nick Robison said: “Our dispute resolutions team is one of the largest in our jurisdiction and it continues to expand. With the number of large complex cases we work on, Emma’s broad experience of commercial litigation disputes will be an asset to our team and play a crucial role in supporting our senior members. We are thrilled to welcome Emma to the firm.”
