The Channel Islands’ only locally-owned loss adjusters has handled its 10,000th case.
Channel Island Adjusters was established by Richard and Julie-anne Headington in 2004 and marked its 15 year anniversary last month.
Mrs Headington, a Finance Director at the firm, has also recently become an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
“I am exceptionally proud to become one of only two Loss Adjusters in the Channel Islands to have achieved this ‘double chartered’ status," she said. "We are passionate about achieving the highest professional and technical standards in our industry here at Channel Islands Adjusters, and this qualification forms part of that commitment and dedication.”
Hot on her heels are the remainder of the company’s Loss Adjusting team, who will soon achieve Chartered Adjuster status. Both Josh Smith and Aaron Slattery have passed their final exams and, by the end of this year both will have recorded five years’ experience, meaning they will also be ‘time qualified’.
"Aaron and Josh represent the future of the industry here in the Channel Islands. Their commitment and dedication means that the islands will benefit from locally-grown Loss Adjusters leading the industry for the next 40 years or more.”
