Planning Services has reviewed the delivery of its services in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic in relation to planning applications and Open Planning Meetings.

The Planning Service is continuing to process current ‘live’ planning applications wherever possible. In some cases, publicity for applications will not have been completed and therefore any such publicity will be recommenced when the current movement restrictions are lifted, to ensure any interested parties have the opportunity to comment. It will also not be possible to commence publicity for new applications received during this time.

In addition, due to the requirement to stay at home unless essential and follow Public Health advice in order to limit transmission of COVID-19, there will be no Open Planning Meetings held until conditions improve.

Further information will be provided in due course.
