Great Britain get their Billie Jean Cup Finals campaign started against Germany today.
Heather Watson is part of the five player squad which also includes a fit again Emma Raducanu.
British captain Anne Keothavong will wait until the last moment to unveil her line-up for the clash in Malaga, scheduled for 16:00.
Raducanu and Katie Boulter are expected to play the two singles games that will open the tie, with Watson and Harriet Dart potentially making up the doubles.
"I've got my five best players out here," Keothavong said.
"I take confidence in the fact that I feel this team is as well prepared as possible. They're excited to be here. They really want to go out there and play.
"I do believe we are a team that can win this competition."
The tournament's opening tie between Spain and Poland was delayed from Wednesday to this morning because of a severe weather alert.
Canada, Italy, Czech Republic, Japan, Romania, Slovakia, Australia and the United States are the other countries competing.
The final takes place on Wednesday, 20 November.
