“That’s more like it” - Scott on Bournemouth’s first win of the season

Alex Scott played his first full 90 minutes in the Premier League as his Bournemouth side picked up their opening win of the season.

They rose out of the bottom three after a 40-yard second-half lob from Philip Billing secured a 2-1 comeback win against Burnley.

Charlie Taylor opened the scoring for Burnley on 11 minutes, before the Cherries replied through Antione Semenyo.

Scott made his debut in last week’s loss against Wolves having recovered from a knee injury that had kept him out of action since signing in the summer.

He carved out some chances during the latest encounter.

Scott supplied the corner which Chris Mepham headed on to force James Trafford to tip the ball over the crossbar.

His free-kick from 25 yards curled narrowly around the post shortly before Billing scored on 75 minutes.
