Guernsey Raiders sign new two-year sponsorship deal

Tuesday 30 April 2024

Guernsey Raiders’ shirts will have a new name on their front for next season.

Ogier has signed a two-year deal as a gold sponsor.

Raiders director of sponsorship Chris Gnapp added: "We are absolutely delighted to welcome Ogier to the Raiders family as one of our Gold Partners. From the moment we started speaking to them about this possibility, their passion and support for Guernsey Rugby shone through and we knew that this was going to be a great partnership.

"This partnership is about so much more than just branding. We are excited to work with Ogier over the next two years to ensure this is a highly valuable partnership for both parties."

It begins at the start of the 2024-25 campaign in September and will see Ogier's logo feature on the front of the playing shirts for the men's and ladies first XV teams as well as adverts around Footes Lane, including on the dugouts, and in the matchday programme for league games.

The Raiders men's first team play in National League 2 East, level four in the English rugby union system, having been promoted from the London & South East Premier in 2020.

The ladies team plays in Women's National Challenge 1 South East (South).

Christopher Jones, practice partner of Ogier's Guernsey office said: "We have a history of supporting rugby in the Channel Islands and are delighted to further our commitment to local sport.

"We look forward to cheering the team on at Footes Lane next season and wish them the best of luck for the rest of this season."

Raiders have thanked previous Gold Sponsor Babbe, which had supported the club for 15 years.
