Guernsey FC Women headed to play Jersey’s St Peter's looking for valuable experience in their debut season.
They came away not just with that, but having secured at 2-1.
The game was scoreless at half time, and with just 10 minutes to go in the match St Peter's took the lead.
It did not last long.
The Green Lionesses hit back through Calleigh Hedley and then moments before the final whistle Gracia Van Zutphen secured the win.
Every member of the squad got game time in the friendly as Guernsey FC prepare for a league campaign next season.
