Action begins today in a major international cricket tournament being held in Guernsey.
The Sarnians start their ICC Men’s World Cup Europe Sub Regional Qualifier campaign against Bulgaria at Port Soif at 10:30.
Teams from Spain, Guernsey, Denmark, Finland, Czech Republic, Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Greece, and Estonia will be taking part in the tournament which is part of the road to the 2026 T20 World Cup.
They are split into two groups, with the winners of each meeting in the final next Wednesday at KGV.
The victors in that game will secure a place in the Europe final next year alongside the Netherlands, Scotland, Italy and Jersey.
