Jersey names its squad to face Guernsey in T20 series

Jersey has now confirmed the players that will face Guernsey in the three cricket match T20I Inter Insular Cup this weekend.

The sides play at KGV on Saturday at 11:00 and 15:00, before the final game at Port Soif on Sunday at noon.

After the Sarnians named their 14-man squad yesterday, Jersey followed today.

Paul Hutchison, Interim Director of Cricket, said: “This is my first opportunity to coach in Inter Insular games and I’m looking forward to it. Guernsey have recently played in Belgium and done well and of course, we are going there having had success in Denmark.”

The games offer both teams good preparation for their respective ICC T-20 World Cup Europe Qualification Tournaments in July and August.
