Guernsey Athletics’ road race series will get underway on Sunday morning.
Already some 150 people are signed up to take part in races that welcome all abilities.
The first challenge in the Chertsey House Dental Series is a 5K in Saumarez Park, before a 10-mile race on Sunday 10 March, a road 5K on Sunday 21 April and a 10K on Friday 24 May.
The whole series is free to enter for club members or you can pay a small fee to enter individual races.
“After the challenge of a cross country season, everyone is always keen to get back on firm ground for the Chertsey House Dental Series,” said Guernsey Athletics’ Endurance Director Chris Gillman.
“This year promises to be lots of fun.”
No entries are accepted on the day. You need to visit the club’s site to get your name in, signing up by 5pm on Friday for the first race.
Sunday’s 5K begins at 9am.
Age-graded prizes are on offer in the series.
