Eye-catching displays could be rewarded this Christmas as the annual shop window competition hots up.
Run by the Guernsey Retail Group, the competition is open to any shop with prizes for the best window in town, and island wide.
It challenges businesses to create eye-catching, festive displays say the organisers.
Jonathan Creasey, Chair of the Guernsey Retail Group, said it's a great initiative for this time of year.
"We are excited to be running the contest once again as it adds a special sparkle to the Island in the run up to Christmas, plus is a great way for local businesses to show off their creative side," he said.
"The event has proved to be a popular tradition for retailers who battle it out for the top prize and it also offers a great incentive for them to really go all out with their designs. We hope shops will see an increase in footfall and this encourages Islanders to buy locally."

The prize winners will be decided by a panel of judges who will assess the various entries using the criteria of overall impact, style and flair and also how the displays captivate and draw in shoppers.
Under that criteria, points are awarded by the independent judges and entries with the highest number of total are declared the winners. In the event of a tie, another judge will re-assess the windows with the victors announced in the week commencing 23 December.
Last year's winners were Wink in Le Pollet and Becky Rowe in St Martin’s, awarded the St Peter Port and Island-wide trophies, respectively.
Becky Rowe previously won in 2021 too, while other winners have included Maison Demain and Sprinkle of Magic/Mysa.
