The Bailiwick's transport links have been affected by the strong winds battering the islands, with both plane and ferry schedules affected.
With wind speeds of 50 knots forecast, Condor Ferries said both its passenger and freight services will be affected over the next two days.
Condor said it was forced to make the changes.
"With sea conditions forecast in excess of five metres in the English Channel and wind speeds of 50 knots, both of Friday’s day sailings from Portsmouth to Guernsey on Commodore Clipper and Commodore Goodwill have been cancelled," the ferry firm said.

Condor has made some other changes to try and counteract the impact of the cancelled sailings. First the Goodwill has been retimed and is now due to leave Portsmouth this evening at 21:30, with an expected arrival into Guernsey at 05:00 and Jersey at 09:00 tomorrow.
The Goodwill will then "anchor in shelter in St Helier before sailing for St Malo on Saturday morning, 10 November."
The cancelled Clipper service on Friday will instead run on Saturday and the company has also added a round trip on Sunday from Portsmouth to the Channel Islands.
Anticipating a backlog of freight, Condor has chartered the MV Arrow freight-only vessel to operate a Portsmouth to Jersey round trip on Saturday morning.
The Condor Rapide through service from Poole to Guernsey, Jersey and onto St Malo tomorrow has been brought forward from an 11:30 departure to 05:00. She will arrive in Guernsey at 08:15, Jersey at 09:45 and St Malo at 12:35.
Condor’s customer contact centre, freight and port teams are in touch with passengers and freight clients affected to help them with their travel plans. For more details head to the Condor Ferries website.

Aurigny's also had to change schedules due to the strong winds, with free flight changes available for passengers who swap their bookings.
The States of Guernsey owned airline said the "current forecasts for tomorrow indicate a strong chance of high winds during late afternoon/evening (on Friday 9 November), which could impact on some of our operations.
"To help to minimise disruption, we are giving passengers, booked on certain flights, the opportunity to re-book free of charge to an alternative flight earlier in the day (Friday) or to move to Saturday."
This offer is for people booked on certain flights between Gatwick and Guernsey and Manchester and Guernsey.
The airline said it still plans to operate those flights, "however, with a significant chance of disruption and/or cancellation, we wanted to offer passengers the chance to move.
"Passengers can change their own bookings online and then email customerservices@aurigny.com to receive a refund for the change fee/charges. Alternatively, they can call the Reservations Team on (01481) 267267."
