The Condor Voyager started its life with a bump today as it collided with a concrete dolphin in Jersey's Harbour.
The vessel, which is owned by Condor's minority shareholder, Brittany Ferries, has been in Jersey today conducting port and berthing trials for crews and shore-based staff.
Following a mishap, the boat was captured colliding with one of the concrete dolphins by one of the interested observers who had gathered to watch.

Despite the loud thud, Condor said the vessel had not been damaged, as it was only travelling at half a knot at the time of the collision.
The Voyager departed for St Malo at 16:00 and is due to arrive in Guernsey for similar port and berthing trials at 15:00 on Thursday.
The vessel was built by Incat in Australia, carries up to 850 passengers and 235 cars and has been part of Brittany Ferries’ fleet since 2005. The catamaran can travel at 42 knots and is 10m longer than Rapide, which it will complement during Condor's summer season.
