French Air Force Fighters have been captured passing over the island.
The French Air Force currently has several models of the Dassault Mirage aircraft in its fleet, including the Mirage 2000 Fighters that were seen over the island on a training sortie on Wednesday afternoon.
The Multirole Combat Fighter was manufactured by Dassault Aviation and has been in service since the 1980s, with a maximum speed of 2,530km/h.

The Mirage aircrafts have also been used by the Indian Air Force, the United Arab Emirates Air Force and the Republic of China Air Force.
This particular model has two 30mm guns and nine hard points for carrying weapon system payloads.
