Black plumes of smoke filled the sky after a boat in the QEII Marina caught fire while a man and woman were on board.
The blaze, which was first reported at around 16:00 on Sunday, spread to a second boat.
A man and woman had just started up the boat when it caught fire. St John Emergency Ambulance confirmed that both escaped without injury and that neither had to be taken to hospital.
All emergency services rushed to the scene, with the Fire & Rescue Service bringing the blaze under control before it ripped through other neighbouring boats.
One eyewitness, Richard Hanrahan, said: "[They brought the fire] under control so quickly…amazing response with so many other boats nearby."
