Impact Scaffolding has issued a call to the public for help identifying a person who they say entered their premises and took equipment.

On Monday 8 April motion cameras were set off at the Impact Scaffolding yard at in St Sampson.

It picked up a man making multiple trips to and from Impact’s trucks, taking scaffolding fittings and two Makita batteries. The footage was picked up at 10.11PM.

Richard Bourgaize is the owner of Impact Scaffolding, he said the fittings were a strange thing to take because they have very little use to anyone who hasn’t got their own scaffold equipment. 

I’m hoping by sharing this that someone with CCTV at the Bridge might have picked up the person. Or if someone was driving past and had dashcam footage from their car. 

“Having staff’s tools stolen is very stressful.” 

Mr Bourgaize has put up a £500 reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest. 

He said he has reported the incident to Guernsey Police. You can see video of the incident below:
