Unprovoked attack early on Boxing Day

A man was attacked on the High Street in the very early hours of Boxing Day, seemingly at random.

It was between 01:45 and 02:00 when he was on the High Street, and was suddenly assaulted by another man, who was with two other people - a man and a woman.

Guernsey Police said the attack appeared to have been unprovoked, but were now looking for more information. 

It asked that if anyone had seen the group of three people, or the attack itself, could they please contact either PC Sharman or PC Le Page at the Police HQ. People can call them on 725111, or give their information anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
