An 18-year-old woman and a person under the age of 18 were arrested at the West Show last night on suspicion of assault and assaulting a police officer.
Guernsey Police said it dealt with several “small-scale violent incidents” at the L’Eree event last night “involving young people”.
Eyewitnesses at the event told Express they saw groups fighting and a male lying on the floor being kicked in the back by a young female.
“Police would urge people to enjoy these events sensibly so as not to ruin them for the rest of the community," a spokesperson said.
It didn’t confirm if extra police would be at the show ground this evening.
