Large sections of the island’s seawalls will be repointed this year with the States now inviting expressions of interest from various contractors who want to take on the works.
Environment & Infrastructure is continuing its programme of seawall maintenance, focusing on areas which are the most vulnerable and damaged.
Separate tenders will be issued for each medium to large section through several different contractors, and those interested asked to fill out a questionnaire to be included on a shortlist.
Masonry and bricklaying expertise is required.
The deadline is April 29 and interested parties must submit through the States’ online ender portal.
