"Technical issue" causes Condor cancellations

Tuesday 07 May 2019

Condor has cancelled today's service between Guernsey and St Malo after finding an "electrical fault" in the Rapide's main engine safety system.

Engine issues are also causing problems for the Condor Liberation, which is expecting delays today while running on reduced power.

Those due to travel to St Malo from Guernsey today will be transferred onto this evening's Condor Liberation service to Jersey and will then travel on to France.

In a statement, the ferry service said it "regrets the disruption and inconvenience the cancellation is causing" and confirmed passengers are able to cancel their journeys to receive a full refund if required.

Condor's reservations and port teams are contacting all those affected to offer alternative sailings.
