Taxi rank assault sparks investigation

Police are investigating an assault by the Town taxi rank, and are asking for witnesses to come forward.

A man was punched and kicked by two other males at around 02:00 on Sunday 21 July.

The incident happened at the bottom of St Julian's Avenue by the traffic lights on the taxi rank side of the road.

The two alleged attackers later fled the scene.

Anyone with information that could aid the investigation is asked to contact Guernsey Police on 725111 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
