Applications for financial support to purchase school uniforms are once again open.
Parents and carers seeking assistance ahead of the next school year beginning in September 2024 can apply for the grants through social security.
Grants are provided for basic uniform items, with the total cash awarded means tested.
Those who don’treceive income support must evidence proof of income, rent and interest on loans as part of the process.
Applications must be filed by 21 August ahead of the first term, but submissions can still be made for other items into the easter holidays.
Education is also supporting the Les Varendes uniform switchover, with a subsidy offered for 75% of the costs of those uniforms.
Forms can be submitted ONLINE, or paper copies requested by calling 221000.
