Historian, Dr Gilly Carr posted on X (Twitter) last night that the report is "finished".
The @EricPickles Alderney Expert Review is finished today. We answered all questions posed & - frankly - we cracked it. We exceeded even our own expectations. It shows what is possible when the experts get together to share & interrogate data. Damn proud of the team! pic.twitter.com/EUkJafh5zt

Lord Pickles is the UK Special Envoy for Post-Holocaust Issues.
He appointed Professor Anthony Glees as his personal advisor on the Alderney Expert Review into "the numbers of slave labourers and prisoners murdered by the Nazis on Alderney".
Professor Glees said the pending review is "a substantial report which pulls no punches and shines a bright light on what was the darkest period in modern times.
"It is centred on the suffering at the hands of the Nazis of so many peoples - all on British soil.
