Team Guernsey ended day one of competition at the top of the medals table, with early success in shooting, cycling and triathlon at the 2019 Natwest International Island Games.
By the close of play on Sunday in Gibraltar, Guernsey had won 11 medals in total - five gold, four silver and two bronze.
Arch rivals Jersey were in fourth position in the medals table going into day two of competition.

Guernsey's early medals included a gold in cycling, with Sam Culverwell winning the Men's Individual Town Criterium, and a team silver and team bronze for the men's and women's team events respectively.
In shooting Guernsey won golds for the women's team ISSF 25m sport pistol event and the NPA Service Pistol B team, the ISSF 25m standard pistol women's team won silver and the NPA Police Pistol team claimed bronze.
In triathlon Guernsey won two gold medals with Josh Lewis winning the men's individual competition and the women winning their team event (pictured top), Megan Chapple won silver in the women's individual and the men came second in the team event.
Today's competition includes heats in the athletics events and the group games in badminton along with Guernsey's mens second basketball game.
