The Bailiwick will be hosting a Royal guest this summer, as Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal will visit Guernsey on Wednesday 18 July.
Princess Anne will be inspecting several lighthouses during her visit, in her role as the Master of Trinity House.
Trinity House was founded in 1514 by Royal charter and now maintains more than 60 lighthouses around the UK, Channel Islands and Gibraltar.
Further information about the Princess Royal's visit will be made available in due course, a spokesperson for Government House said.
She last visited the island in November 2011 when she toured Le Rondin school, before opening the Rugby club house at Footes Lane.
