The legendary Fish and Chip shop at Cobo has been sold to Randalls, who have confirmed it is going to keep things a business as usual.
The Brewery purchased the chippy in August, adding it to its range of other Cobo businesses like the Rockmount and La Reunion.
A spokesperson for the business assured the fish bar's loyal customers it would be business as usual.
"Randalls are pleased to announce that we completed the acquisition of Cobo Chip Shop in August," it said.
"We are delighted to add this well known and loved local business to our portfolio which includes the neighbouring Rockmount and La Reunion. It will be very much business as usual for this Guernsey west coast institution."

In 2011, Cobo Chippy was recognised in Esquire - a national magazine - as one of Britain's top five traditional chippies.
The queues often fill the car park during the summer months as people have their dinner on the beach, watching the sunset, with numerous images shared on social media.
