More than 1,000 people have signed a petition in opposition to the 30-metre-high pylons at La Grande Mare.
The pylons have been erected as part of the multi-million pound redevelopment of La Grande Mare golf course, and will support netting around the driving range.
The tall structures have received backlash from the public and a petition was launched earlier this week.
Roughly 190 people signed the petition today, bringing the total number of people putting their name to the opposition as 1,440.
The organiser of the petition, Sheena Annan, has set 1,500 signatures as the next target.
