Public encouraged to comment on road changes

Tuesday 08 August 2023

More transparency is being promised by Traffic and Highway Services when it comes to making changes to the island's roads.

A new consultation page has been launched "to make it easier for members of the public to see and comment on proposed changes to public highways".

In the past, the only way to see information about proposed changes was to read La Gazette or the site notice itself.

“This is a simple step to improve transparency when we’re proposing changes to our highways," said Phil Ogier, Manager at THS.

"The more people that engage with us in this way, the better informed we should be about the impact of changes before any decisions are taken, and the less surprise there will be when works are carried out.”

You can find the consultation page HERE.
