Future Lieutenant-Governors could be made to pay tax if two deputies are successful in having the law changed.

The Crown’s representative in Guernsey has historically been exempt from paying tax, however Deputies Gavin St Pier and Andrew Taylor are looking to change this.

They have submitted an amendment to the upcoming budget, and it’ll be debated next week. 

But what do YOU think? Should future representatives pay tax on their salaries?
