A vehicle involved in a two-car collision at La Route Des Capelles on Tuesday was driven away from the scene after the incident.
Guernsey Police has launched an investigation into the road traffic collision, which occurred at around 11:30 on Tuesday 9 March.
It involved a silver people carrier and what police have described as a "smaller motor vehicle", the driver of which failed to stop and provide insurance details.
Anyone in the area at the time who can assist officers with their investigations is asked to contact PC 77 Taylor or PC 174 Potter at Guernsey Police on 725111.
